Amber’s Adventure on the Sill Branch Trail
When Mama and I set out for a dog‑friendly hike in East Tennessee, I thought we were planning to explore Long Arm Branch — but Mama had other ideas. Instead, we headed to Sill Branch, a quiet forest trail with creek crossings, mossy rocks, and plenty of good sniffs.

Exploring the Trail
The path followed a rushing creek, and I loved hopping across the rocks while Mama took photos. The forest was full of winter greens, tiny flowers, and soft moss that felt cool under my paws. We even found a giant fallen tree that made the perfect spot for a break.
The Waterfall Surprise
At the end of the trail, we reached the Sill Branch waterfall. The water was loud and beautiful, splashing down into a rocky pool. I stayed close to Mama while she climbed around for pictures — those rocks were slippery, and someone had to supervise.

A New Friend
On the way back, we met a big, friendly dog named Axle. He was excited to say hello, and Mama and his dad chatted while we sniffed and wagged. Trail friends are the best kind. I can’t believe Mama didn’t get a picture of him!
Little Forest Treasures
Before heading home, Mama spotted a tiny snail on a rock. She loves finding small details like that, and I love watching her get excited about nature. It makes every hike feel special.
