✨ Fall Creek Loop Adventure With Friends! ✨
Hi everybody! It’s me, Amber! Guess what — I finally got back on the trail! After being sick again a few weeks ago, Mama said I needed to rest, so I missed a whole week of posting here on PittieGoHike. I was not thrilled about that, but Mama said I had to finish recovering. The good news is… I’m all better now! YAY! And a few days ago, I got to go on my first hike back!

And it was extra special because my very best friends, Mochi and Kimchi, were there — with their mama, Auntie Joanne! When I saw them at Fall Creek Loop, I got so excited I could hardly keep my paws on the ground. There is nothing better than hiking with your best friends, especially when you haven’t been able to hike for a while.
Mama said we had to keep it short today since it was my first hike back (BOOOOO), so instead of going up the hill like I wanted, we headed straight for the creekside part of the trail. Honestly, that was fine with me because it was already HOT outside, and Fall Creek Loop is one of the best dog‑friendly trails in Upper East Tennessee for cooling off.

I took my job very seriously and showed Mochi and Kimchi all my favorite splashy spots along the trail. We visited the swimmy hole at the bend in the creek, the shallow splashy sections, and even the log you can climb on to go out over the water. Mochi and Kimchi were too nervous to try the log, but I showed them how brave I am and walked right out there like a pro.

We explored the little waterfall, crossed the bridge, and splashed in every puddle we could find. Mochi splashed two or three times, and Kimchi only splashed once — but that’s okay. I’m the swimmer of the group anyway! I even swam out to a tiny spot that looked like an island in the creek and sniffed around until Mama said I had to come back.
I wanted to show them the rocks where you can get into the lake, but there were people there with little boats, and Mama said we shouldn’t bother them. So instead, I took my friends up the hill to where an old house used to be… except it wasn’t there anymore! That was a surprise. We headed back down and found one more splashy spot on the other side of the bridge, and we played there for a long time.

It felt SO good to be back on the trail again — sniffing, splashing, swimming, and showing my friends all the best parts of Fall Creek Loop. This trail never disappoints, and today it felt extra special because I got to share it with Mochi and Kimchi.
I’m so happy to be hiking again, and I can’t wait to take you all along on more adventures now that I’m feeling better. Fall Creek Loop forever! ~~Love, Amber
